Fortunately, despite the rain and gusting winds, we were able to get everything set up in time and set off without any issues. We've been very lucky that this was the first year that the weather has played such a role!

A great crowd came out, despite the persistent drizzle, to enjoy the range of rockets and multi-shot fireworks, and create an amazing atmosphere within the Club on a damp and soggy evening.

Yet again, Yvette's hot food went down a storm, as did Lyn & Chris' mulled cider and popcorn, and the festivities continued well after the fireworks had stopped.

Thanks to all of those involved. To Yvette, Lyn & Chris for running their food and drinks stalls. To Peter, Paul, Nigel, Vickie, Jason and the others who supported with marshalling and managing the entry gates. And, to Rachel & Ashley for getting out there and setting them off. (Apologies if I've missed anyone)

The Fireworks Night has become a staple of the Club's social calendar and the atmosphere of this year's might've been the best yet!

Planning has already started for 2020! Onto next year!
