The traditional end of cricket season dinner took place at the Club and was well supported by players and members alike. A wonderful meal was followed by the awards presentation.

After what everyone acknowledges has been a difficult season it was tremendous to see the genuine team and club spirit across all age groups. Our President Chris Gill, and primary sponsor Graham Chase attended in what was a highly enjoyable evening.

The team captains summarised the season and the various awards confirmed as follows:

1st Team Player of the Year - Sam Martin
2nd Team Player of the Year - James Hawksworth
3rd Team Player of the Year - Greg Mackett
Young Player of the Year - Jack Ryan
Wally Budgen Award for the most impactful performance by a young player - Dan Naughton
Golden Duck Award - Tom Bolt
Clubman of the Year - Adam Baxter

All of the above were very worthy winners and a number of other candidates deserved honourable mentions.

A great night to sign off one season and begin the planning for the next.
