The traditional Good Friday working party was very well supported and the ground looks in great shape and suitably fit to host the coming summer sporting season.

Thank you to all the workers of all shapes, sizes and ages and to Sue Wright for doing the lunch and to yours truly for paying for it!

The friendly cricket games have started and the league campaign gets going on Saturday 11th May.

Earlier in the week the tennis section began their season with a well supported signing in night. Good luck to them as their league season begins.

As the fixture cards and membership forms have now been posted please help the Club and Assistant Secretary by paying up your subscriptions and donations as promptly as you can. A regular standing order eases the pain and our administration!

Well done to Julian Weenen for securing a Jack Petchey grant to fund better storage facilities for the juniors equipment.

Finally as both Spurs and Arsenal have reached the semi finals of European cup competition and hopefully on to the finals why not support them on the TV at the Club rather than at home or in the local pub? Let's create an atmosphere!
