Here's a roundup of last weekend's matches

There was another fine win for the 1s this weekend. After making the long journey to Osterley, Kyal Bacchus-Brown's men were asked to bat first and suffered a series of early blows as Jack Plumb (10), Neville Talbot (7) and Max Houlahan (0) all fell cheaply to reduce us to 36-3. However, a superb aggressive performance from Les Edwards (73), added to a composed innings from Chris Long, propelled us to a competitive score - Long being dismissed with the last ball of the innings after compiling a marvellous 101. We closed on 248-9 in 45 overs.

After an early breakthrough from Arthur George, we were made to work hard in the field as Vikram Singh batted with power and purpose. When he eventually fell for 94, there followed a flurry of wickets as our bowlers stuck to their task, dismissing Osterley for 212 in 37.2 overs. Les Edwards completed a fine personal display by taking 3-42, well supported by Dan Amedee (3-48). We remain second in the table.

The 2s bounced back from disappointment last week with strong 7 wicket victory against Twickenham. Tight bowling and a good fielding display, with three run-outs (including one from Tills!), helped dismiss Twickenham for 156 in 43.2 overs. The bowlers shared the spoils, with Tom Bolt taking 2-23 and James Hardy 2-30. A composed batting performance followed, with 15-year-old James Cormack carrying his bat to finish 68*, ably supported by Matthew Sarkies (67).

The 3s unfortunately couldn't complete the hat-trick. Despite, a good bowling performance, led by Callum Anderson (5-49), a deteriorating wicket meant that they didn't get close to Harrow Town's 255, and were bowled out for 87.

Next week, the 1s host Barnes, the 2s travel to Osterley and the 3s host Osterley at Holtwhites.
