On Friday 23rd March the annual Enfield Cricket Club dinner took place. Almost 90 members from cricket, football, tennis, hockey and other parts of the Club attended along with friends from Winchmore Hill, Southgate and Botany Bay cricket clubs.

The guest speaker was Micky Hazard ex-Spurs, Chelsea and England star who gave a really well received question and answer session on his career and football generally. Micky was candid, entertaining and a thoroughly good guy who balanced the partisan Spurs fans along with a few Gunners and others in the mix!

A poignant and fitting tribute was given by Rob Carter about Ansil Roach who passed away
recently. Ansil was a member of the 1988 Cup winning side and had retired to his native Barbados.
