On Friday 1st February the annual Club dinner took place. A total of 100 members from the cricket, tennis, football and former hockey sections attended along with guests from various other clubs including Winchmore Hill CC and Southgate CC.

The MCCL Chairman Bob Baxter was joined by the guest speaker Ossie Ardiles the Spurs and Argentina footballer and of course a World Cup winner in 1978. John Lacy of Spurs also joined Ossie in an entertaining question and answer session which was preceded by a toast to the Club and guests from Phil Marshall of Enfield Cricket Club.

It was particularly pleasing to see the strong representation of cricket players including younger players who have graduated for colts dinners, to end of season dinners and now to the main Club dinner over recent years.

The evening was entertaining and as is the tradition begins the run in to the start of the summer season.
